OEKO-TEX®
One of the independent institutes that tests LCK® products is the renowned Hohenstein Institute in Germany. You may know them from the well-known OEKO-TEX® 100 label that they award to certain furniture fabrics. But wait a minute? Isn't this a label for fabric? Correct!
Puratex® protector has its very own OEKO-TEX® passport. This is very different from the above label and actually means that Puratex® has been intensively and periodically tested under various (living) conditions. The passport shows that:
- Puratex® is not bad for humans & animals
- Puratex® is not bad for our nature
- Puratex® does not affect the furniture fabric
- Puratex® is odourless and colourless
In 2024, Puratex® was once again awarded the passport, the only one in Europe!
How does it work?
You are probably wondering, how? The answer is simple! Puratex® is manufactured on the basis of modified silicon, which is also often used in construction as sand, and water. So no chemical rubbish. Fun fact: this is also why you have to shake well before use, because the working particles sink to the bottom after a while.
